What or who is separating you and me from getting to where we want to be?
Some of us have specific goals and desires.
Others are just trying to not be overcome by things that happen in life.
Maybe, many of us don't even think about what's within our reach because we don't know it's there.
At different times, we may see something that we want but can't find a way to get to it.
Besides, there is a big pit between you and us, so no one can cross over to you, and no one can leave there and come here. Luke 16:26
This and eternal destinations aren't what we usually think about.
Is there Abraham's bosom, hell, paradise, Father's house, a house that's from heaven, and a third heaven? Luke 16:22-23; Luke 23:42-43; John 14:2; 2 Corinthians 5:1-2; 2 Corinthians 12:2-3
If yes, how can we avoid being in torment? Luke 16:23-24
How can we get to live where God will wipe away all tears from our eyes; and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither will there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away? Revelation 21:4
Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father but by Me. John 14:6
Peter said, And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
Paul wrote, It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost.
Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost sinner Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life. 1 Timothy 1:15-16
We CAN get to where we should be.
Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, and brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, and your household. Acts 16:29-31
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
