Be careful that you don't do your ________ in front of others to be noticed by them.

It seems that most of us want others to pay attention to us: our bodies, hair, clothing, vehicles, houses, achievements, and more.

We think that if they see us and what we've done or are in the process of doing, they will value us.

"Yes, I gave this."

"Have I mentioned that I got a big raise?"

"I'm really happy that I earned straight A's last semester."

Should spiritual people keep their triumphs to themselves?

And when they give, fast, and pray, should these be done in secret, too?
