Doctrines from the media

There's lots of information that's communicated these days.
Think of social media, streaming media, traditional news, TV shows, radio, and movies.
Occasionally, writers and announcers will add some religious or spiritual "doctrine" to their content.
In shows and movies, we may hear sentences like these --
"You are NOT a bad person. You are NOT going to hell."
"One major good deed will override all of your sins and mistakes."
If people don't know what the Bible says, viewers, readers, and listeners may think,
"That sounds right. That's reasonable."
Don't most people think that they're NOT bad and therefore they don't deserve negative judgment of some kind?
If we really don't understand God the Father's love plan as revealed in the Bible through the Lord Jesus Christ, teachings from the media may be what we believe.
Why?
So much of what comes into our eyes, ears, mind, and spiritual heart come through what's shared in a digital environment. 1 Corinthians 15:33
Can we at least be open to a different message?
The Lord's love plan was in His heart before the creation of the world. 2 Timothy 1:9-11; Titus 1:2
It centers on Jesus, Who is God the Word Who became flesh and lived among people. John 1:1-2, 14
Jesus was foretold in the Law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms of the Old Testament Scriptures. Luke 24:25-27, 44
I passed on to you what I received, of which this was most important: that Christ died for our sins, as the Scriptures say; that He was buried and was raised to life on the third day as the Scriptures say; and that He was seen by Peter and then by the twelve apostles. After that, Jesus was seen by more than five hundred of the believers at the same time. Most of them are still living today, but some have died. Then He was seen by James and later by all the apostles. 1 Corinthians 15:3-7
And it was God the Father so loving all people that He gave Jesus to be their Savior. John 3:16-17
Jesus can be our Savior personally, whether we think we're good, bad, or in-between, or have or have not done "one major good deed" to override our failures.
For whoever keeps the whole Law, yet stumbles in one point, has become guilty of all. James 2:10
Jesus can save us from our sins. Matthew 1:21; Luke 19:10; Revelation 1:5
It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I [Paul] am foremost. Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost sinner Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life. 1 Timothy 1:15-16
Through Him, we can be born anew spiritually. John 1:10-13; 3:3-6
What a privilege it is to read about this love plan, act on His invitation, and become His.
This is what the Scripture says: "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart." That is the teaching of faith that we are telling. If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. We believe with our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we declare with our mouths that we believe, and so we are saved. Romans 10:8-10
