Failed again?

Some people think that they never lose.
They believe that they don't fail.
Others look in the mirror and evaluate their lives, almost daily.
They reflect on what they were, where they are now, what they could have been, or will become.
Some of this evaluation is because others have put demands on them:
What they should do and not do, what they should say and not say,
and how their actions and words in the past have not all been to others' standards, so "they better become better; or else!"
They are reminded continually, "You are NOT perfect. You are not even average because you mess up so many times in too many areas."
So, perhaps these people who do fail and do lose, examine themselves to try to change.
Or they become distressed and maybe want to give up.
As spiritual people what do we do with these feelings?
When we've missed it, some biblical assurances might help to encourage us to move forward.
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 5:1
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20
Yes, we are blessed even when we fail. 1 John 2:1-2
For by grace [unearned and undeserved divine favor] you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; Ephesians 2:9
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior was shown, He saved us because of His mercy. It was not because of good deeds we did to be right with Him. He saved us through the washing that made us new people through the Holy Spirit. God poured out richly upon us that Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ our Savior. Being made right with God by His grace, we could have the hope of receiving the life that never ends. Titus 3:4-7
Even when we feel horrible because we've failed, there is cleansing available.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
And from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To Him Who loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, Revelation 1:5
Other than believing and doing these truths for us personally, what else?
So you too, consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:11
