Do you have moments where you read or hear words, listen to songs, or see something that touches your heart so that tears come to your eyes?

Jesus said, Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in Me. There are many rooms in My Father’s house; I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you. John 14:1-2

Something to think about when our hearts are troubled.

He went there to prepare a place for you and me!

Maybe that brings thankful tears; it did to me.

If we care about the spiritual well-being of others, we may think, "I wish others could have this experience of His presence that I'm having now."

That's good, right?

We're being blessed and we want others to get in on it, too.

For whose eyes is this time of thanksgiving, joy, or some other wonderful feeling?

We don't see ourselves when we're being touched by Him.

If we desire that people see us in that moment, we're spiritually immature or in need of a word of correction.

Be careful! When you do good things, don’t do them in front of people to be seen by them. If you do that, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. Matthew 6:1

When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites. They love to stand in the synagogues and on the street corners and pray so people will see them. I tell you the truth, they already have their full reward. Matthew 6:5

They do good things so that other people will see them. Matthew 23:5

Isn't it better to have the Heavenly Father see you as He is blessing you?

Shouldn't He be enough?

How can you believe, which receive honor one of another, and seek not the honor that comes from God only? John 5:44

They loved praise from people more than praise from God. John 12:43

When we're moved to enthusiastic spiritual joy or tears of salvation, shouldn't we realize that He has done it?

And that He is the only audience we need?

Your thoughts?
