Many hospitals have ERs, emergency rooms, so that immediate health needs can be handled.

Have you been to the spiritual ER?

There's a highly-skilled Doctor there Who already knows what you need before you ask. Matthew 6:8

He has a variety of abilities for every part of us. Mark 7:37; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24; Hebrews 4:12

He is Creator, Doer, Comforter, Lover, Friend, Counselor, Giver, Provider, Sustainer, God & Savior.

John 1:1-3; 14:13-14, 16; 15:12-15; 16:13; 17:14, 22; 21:9, 13; Colossians 1:17; 2 Peter 1:1

He can take care of our physical BODY.

When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to Jesus, and He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.

This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:

"He took on our infirmities and carried our diseases." Matthew 8:16-17

He can take care of our SOUL: mind, emotions, and will. Psalm 23:3; James 1:21

The Spirit of the Lord is on Me [Jesus], because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor.

He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind,

to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor. Luke 4:18-19

He can take care of our SPIRIT.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10

But whoever drinks the water I [Jesus] give him will never thirst.

Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount [a well] of water springing up to eternal life. John 4:14

On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and called out in a loud voice,

"If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.

Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said: 'Streams of living water will flow from within him.'"

He was speaking about the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were later to receive.

For the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet been glorified. John 7:37-39

Repent, then, and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped away,

that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

and that He may send Jesus, the Christ, who has been appointed for you. Acts 3:19-20

But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with Him in spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:17

At some point, you or I, or a family member may need the emergency room (ER).

How much more should we go willingly to His spiritual ER?

The Doctor is in.

Come to Me [Jesus], all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you [walk with Me] and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30
