"He's not as spiritual as he thinks."

It doesn't take much for others to have a negative opinion.

What they think is a wrong word, facial expression, or action can sour their view of us.

"Oh, she believes she's so spiritual. Hah! Now look at her!"

Even if what someone did wasn't a sin, people look for opportunities to criticize.

Sometimes this is their way to justify NOT believing.

They may think, "I'm as good as they are. I don't need their religion."

Maybe, we DO have some things that are wrong with our lives.

Do spiritual people take inventory from time to time?

Do they look in a mirror to see what they look like physically?

Do they look in another mirror or mirrors to see themselves mentally, emotionally, financially, socially, and spiritually?

We don't want to compare ourselves among ourselves, which wouldn't be wise. 2 Corinthians 10:12

So, is there a standard outside of ourselves and our group that will let us see what's wrong with us?

And what's right with our lives?

Can we use that standard or standards to become better?

Less of what's wrong and more of what's right?

Your thoughts?
