Are you a reverend? Or a pastor? Or a preacher? Or a doctor?

Our titles sometimes define who we want others to know us by.

And how we view ourselves.

Is this spiritual?

Think about it.

Just because I have a title that may impress others and make us proud that we've achieved this, does this mean that we're spiritual?

Does this mean that we have a hunger and thirst for righteousness?

Does this mean that we're humble, teachable, and willing to learn truth from those who have it?

Usually, our titles may prevent us from being like little children who embrace the world with curiosity and thankfulness.

We're Reverend, Pastor, Evangelist, or Doctor so-and-so first and last in our minds.

Maybe, if we've grown spiritually enough, we can delete the titles:

"Hi. I'm (insert your first name only)."

Your thoughts?
