How many points do you need to get into Heaven?

There are people who believe and practice that doing good deeds will outweigh bad deeds.
If they have more good deeds than bad, this means that they will have earned enough points to enter Heaven.
Whatever their concept is of an afterlife such as a paradise of joy, love, and abundance, they believe that they'll make it into that place based upon their actions on earth.
Do you believe this?
If you do, are you keeping score on how many points you're getting in life?
How many points would be necessary?
Just 1 more point of good more than bad points?
The New Testament of the Bible has these ideas --
For whosoever shall keep the whole Law [Law of Moses], and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. James 2:10
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
Is there a better way than to try to keep score and earn our way into Heaven?
All need to be made right with God by His grace, which is a free gift. They need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ. Romans 3:24
Yet we know that a person is made right with God not by following the Law, but by trusting in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus, that we might be made right with God because we trusted in Christ. It is not because we followed the Law, because no one can be made right with God by following the Law. Galatians 2:16
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior was shown, He saved us because of His mercy. It was not because of good deeds we did to be right with Him. He saved us through the washing that made us new people through the Holy Spirit. God poured out richly upon us that Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ our Savior. Being made right with God by His grace, we could have the hope of receiving the life that never ends. Titus 3:4-7
