Do spiritual people need to wear symbols?

Should they have buttons or other advertisements that tell others, "Hi. I'm this kind of person."

Sometimes when people wear symbols, whether they're pieces of jewelry, hats, or other pieces of clothing, they think that this is enough.

That is, they don't need to say or do anything else that will reveal whatever spirituality they follow.

But is wearing something really enough?

Or is it actually a distraction and lets people categorize you that sometimes is in a negative way?

Alternatively, should a spiritual person let their words, body language, and other actions express their character, authority, and power?
