If He is not enough, it's not enough

Is there a "God side" of things where He does it?
Is there a "people side" where we must do it?
If someone needs to wash their hands, do they have to do it?
Or do they pray,
"My hands are dirty. Please wash them now. Thank you."
Some could pray like that in certain situations where soap, water, or sanitizer aren't available.
Would the Lord answer that prayer by sanitizing that prayer's hands supernaturally?
It could happen and probably has. Mark 11:22-24
The point is that in many instances in our lives, don't WE have to take care of these or have others help us to get things done?
WHAT WE CAN'T DO
Can we save ourselves from our sins?
No.
"She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins."
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
"Behold, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel"
(which means, "God with us"). Matthew 1:21-23
Are there other spiritual blessings that we can't do for ourselves?
Healing. Matthew 8:1-3, 5-9, 13-17; 1 Peter 2:24
Deliverance from evil and demons. Matthew 6:13; John 17:15
360 degree, 24/7 protection from danger. Psalm 91:1-7; 103:4
Revelations about spirituality. Luke 10:21-22; Ephesians 1:17-18
These are good and perfect gifts from above, coming down to us from the Father of lights. James 1:17
Salvation in all of its wonderful elements is the Father's plan for all who will believe His good news. Romans 1:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, [Jesus] that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. John 3:16-17
WHAT WE CAN DO
Work with our own hands, power, and skills to provide for ourselves and families, 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12; 2 Thessalonians 3:12; 1 Timothy 5:8
and to give to those truly in need. Proverbs 19:18; Romans 15:26; Galatians 2:10; 6:10; Ephesians 4:28; 1 Timothy 5:5; James 1:27; 2:15-16; 1 John 3:17
Don't worry about what to eat, drink, or wear. Matthew 6:25-30
Have faith because your Heavenly Father knows that you need all of these things. Matthew 6:31-32
Instead of seeking to satisfy these basic needs, what should we do?
Jesus gave the answer:
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:33
WHAT WE CAN DO TOGETHER WITH THE LORD 2 Corinthians 6:1

Lay hands on the sick. Mark 16:18-20; Acts 28:8-9
Command in His name. Acts 3:1-8; 16:16-18
Proclaim His gospel. Acts 5:42; 8:4; 28:30-31; Romans 10:14-15; 1 Peter 1:12
Fulfill the ministry given to us by Him. Romans 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, 27-31; Ephesians 4:11-16; Colossians 4:17
Rejoice and cry with those who do so. Romans 12:15
Comfort others. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
IF HE OPENS or SHUTS DOORS
The Lord Jesus Christ may say this to you or a church:
"Behold, I have placed before you an open door, which no one can shut." Revelation 3:8
What about His ministry to CLOSE doors that could hurt us if we entered open doors?
What He [Jesus] opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open. Revelation 3:7
Paul wrote that he would stay in a certain city because a great door for effective work had opened to him, even though many opposed him. 1 Corinthians 16:9
Paul asked others to pray --
At the same time, pray also for us that God may open a door to us for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains,
so that I may make it known as I should. Colossians 4:3-4
REST IN HIM Matthew 11:28
Therefore, a Sabbath rest remains for God's people.
For the person who has entered His rest has rested from his own works, just as God did from His. Hebrews 4:9-10
This is His place of FAITH where we don't work to earn salvation but trust in His GIFT of salvation.
For you are saved by grace [His unearned favor] through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift —
not from works, so that no one can boast.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10
We don't want to be involved in jealousy or selfish ambition. James 3:26
But we trust,
"Father, in the authority, character, and power of the Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that You will exalt me to the place You want for me, in due time as I humble myself under Your mighty hand. James 4:10; 1 Peter 5:6
Please open doors and shut doors so that only Your best is what's made available to me, for Your glory. I rest in Your provision. Thank you."
Then we can understand,
If He isn't enough to get something done on His own or working with us as co-laborers, 1 Corinthians 3:9 then it won't be enough for you or me to try to build or protect on our own.
Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain;
unless the Lord protects the city, its watchmen stand guard in vain. Psalm 127:1
