If you will love them

Some animals and people give signals that they're NOT open to being loved.

They withdraw physically and may become angry when you try to get near them.

Have we really tried to love them unconditionally?

That is, no strings attached, no expectations, neither any manipulation because we don't want anything from them.

We only want to give our love in the purest form that we can.

The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us. Romans 5:5

If we love them, will they love us?

We can try.

Even if the result is that the more we love them the less we're loved by them in return, at least temporarily, won't it still be worth it?

Knowledge puffs up but love builds up. I Corinthians 8:1
