Is your name in the Bible?

We may have been named or changed our names to match one of the names in the Bible.
If your name isn't used in the Scriptures, there's a way to get your name inserted spiritually into them.
Let's see how.
FORSAKEN FOR A REASON
My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?
Why are You so far from saving me, so far from my words of groaning? Psalms 22:1
Jesus said the first sentence from the 22nd Psalm as quoted in Matthew 27:46 when He was suffering on the cross Matthew 27:35 because it was foretold of Him.
Another verse predicted His physical thirst on the cross, so to fulfill the Scripture He said, "I am thirsty." Psalms 22:15; John 19:28
BUT WHY AT THAT TIME?
Why was Jesus forsaken?
It's a legitimate question because it doesn't make sense at face value.
What would seem logical is for Jesus to plead His case with the Father.
He could have said,
"My God, My God, My Abba, My Father, why have You forsaken Me? Mark 14:36; 15:34
I'm Your only begotten Son, Jesus, Your unique Son, the Word made flesh. John 1:14
I shared in Your glory from the beginning. John 1:1-2; 17:5
You and I are One. John 10:30
When people looked at Me, they saw You, Father. John 12:45; 14:9; Colossians 2:9
I, as Your Word, radiate Your essence and am the exact representation of You. John 1:1-2; Hebrews 1:3
Even though I am God, the Word, I emptied Myself, stripped Myself of My divine rights Philippians 2:6-7 according to your plan from eternity, to be Your Lamb. John 1:1-2, 29; Acts 2:23-24; 1 Peter 1:18-20
I am Your Son. You said that You were well pleased with Me. Matthew 3:16-17; 17:1-7; 2 Peter 1:16-18
Why would you forsake Me now when I'm suffering crucifixion?" Mark 15:24-32
THE FATHER and JESUS KNEW THE ANSWER
About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice,
"Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" which means, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" Matthew 27:46
It was a question that was NOT asked for the Father to answer.
How can we know this?
Earlier, Jesus had told His disciples what would happen to Him when He arrived at Jerusalem, so nothing that occurred was a surprise. Luke 18:31-33
Jesus also said,
"Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say?
'Father, save Me from this hour'?
No, it is for this purpose that I have come to this hour.
Father, glorify Your name!"
Then a voice came from heaven: "I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again." John 12:27-28
Jesus made intercessory prayer Matthew 26:36-38 against the power of darkness. Luke 22:53
He did that to pave the way for the salvation of the world John 3:16-17; Colossians 2:13-15; 1 Timothy 1:15; Hebrews 2:14-15; 1 John 3:8 because the prince of the world, the power of the air, the devil, and the world's people were judged. John 12:31; 16:11; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 2:1-2
At three times Matthew 26:44 during at least an hour of agonizing intercession, Isaiah 53:11; Matthew 26:40; Luke 22:43-44 Jesus prayed that the cup He was drinking would pass on or end.
"Abba, Father," He said, "all things are possible for You.
Take this cup from Me. Yet not what I will, but what You will." Mark 14:36
A second time He went away and prayed,
"My Father, if this cup cannot pass unless I drink it, may Your will be done." Matthew 26:42
Jesus had to drink all of the cup of intercessory prayer.
As Isaiah foretold,
He made intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:12; Luke 23:34
Jesus earlier had asked James and John if they were willing to drink of the cup that He would drink. Matthew 20:20, 22
These two disciples were NOT going to suffer and be crucified for the salvation of the world, would they?
No.
So, the cup Jesus said that they would drink Matthew 20:23 was also a cup of intercession as true disciples would later be told by Paul to do for all people. 1 Timothy 2:1-4
The request of Jesus to let the cup be removed was NOT to be saved from the suffering of Roman whipping John 19:1 and crucifixion. John 19:16-19
To bear the sins, sicknesses, and diseases of humanity was a different cup John 18:10-11 that He knew was His as the Lamb of God. Isaiah 52:13-15-53:2-8; John 1:29
Jesus said,
"Are you not aware that I can call on My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels? [more than 72,000 angels]
But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen this way?" Matthew 26:53-54
Jesus' prayer of consecration Matthew 26:39 was to be saved from His SORROWFUL SOUL dying through the continuation of this torturous prayer time against the forces of darkness Ephesians 6:12 that would try to bind current and future people in sin, stealing, killing, and destroying. John 8:34; 10:10
He [Jesus] took with Him Peter, James, and John, and began to be deeply troubled and distressed.
Then He said to them,
"My soul is consumed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch." Mark 14:33
The Father heard Jesus' prayers and DID save His soul from dying.
During the days of Jesus' earthly life, He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence.
Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered. Hebrews 5:7-8
Then, Jesus said that this unique intercessory prayer time was over, even though His disciples rested or slept through most of it. Mark 14:37, 40-42
Jesus continues His intercessor role now at the Father's right hand. Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25; 1 John 2:1
"MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?" Psalms 22:1; Matthew 27:46
On the cross, Jesus asked this for the benefit of you, me, and everyone.
We EACH are to answer,
"Lord Jesus, You were forsaken on the cross by the Father.
Yes, He laid on You the sins, sicknesses, and diseases of all humanity. Isaiah 52:13-15-53:4, 6-12; 1 Peter 2:24
You were pierced for MY transgressions, crushed for MY sins, the punishment that brought ME peace was upon You,
and with Your stripes I am healed." Isaiah 53:5
Why was the Lord Jesus Christ forsaken?
It was for each of us to have His salvation IF we'll believe in Him personally as our Savior. John 3:3-8, 16-17
JESUS SAYS YOUR NAME
When Jesus cried out,
"My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" Matthew 27:46
He answered His own question.
"Father, You have forsaken Me now for [put your name in here].
I am suffering for [put your name in here].
I am enduring the cross for [put your name in here].
For the future joy to have [put your name in here] be in fellowship with You and Me, 1 John 1:3 I lay down My life and will take it again John 10:17-18 for [put your name in here].
Father, I pray for all those watching Me now. Matthew 27:35-36
Forgive them because they don't want what they are doing. Luke 23:34
I pray also for [put your name in here]. Draw all of them to You and Me." John 6:44-45; 12:32-33
