Lend, hoping for nothing in return

Lend what?

Your money, time, strength, skills, honor?

Lend to whom? Everyone?

You can also lend your compliments to give value to others who may not feel valuable.

If we do, we should expect nothing from them in return.

And if we have grown enough, our lending can be to enemies!

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward will be great, and you will be the children of the Highest: for He is kind to the unthankful and to the evil. Be therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Luke 6:35-36
