Who do you look to for guidance, inspiration, and a role model?

Who do you look to for teaching, preaching, what to believe, and how to live?

Many times in religious or spiritual groups, people look to their leaders.

Others may look to their peers and follow them.

Readers might do what their favorite authors suggest.

Any of these sources have their place, IF they're in the proper place.

Do you and I want the Lord Jesus Christ to have the number one position?

He [Jesus] is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also the head of the body, the Church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. Colossians 1:17-18

Looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
