Do spiritual people say things like this?

"Well, it was no fault of their own."

They're saying that someone was a victim of circumstances.

Something or someone else caused some supposedly negative thing to happen.

It was done to them but it was no fault of their own.

They were NOT the problem.

They did nothing wrong.

There wasn't any word, action, or thought - there was nothing on their part that they were guilty of doing that caused this.

"It wasn't their fault."

Perhaps they're right.

But if it WAS their lifestyle that opened a door for problems to enter in, Ephesians 4:27 can't the Lord Jesus Christ help?

A certain man was there who had been sick for 38 years. Jesus told him, "Pick up your mat and walk. Immediately he was healed, picked up his mat, and walked. John 5:5, 8-9

Later, Jesus found that man in the temple and told him, "Look. You are now well. Don't sin anymore or a worse thing could come to you." John 5:14

Your thoughts?
