People don't like to be corrected

Some of us are still learning this fact.
We mean well but our comments to improve another's life either are ignored or received but cause the listener to be offended by them.
Then the disciples came to Him [Jesus] and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?” Matthew 15:12
All of us like to be complimented, right?
Who enjoys being told, "You want so badly to make it, to have it. But you won't make it, you don't have it, and you never will."
Okay, most will never say something so mean but if you live long enough, something like this may be experienced.
As spiritual people, should we be able to speak the truth in love even if it hurts a little? Ephesians 4:15
Should we be growing enough to take criticisms that might be gently given or even at a screaming level?
The believer's shield of faith that works by love Galatians 5:6; Ephesians 6:11, 16 can quench fire darts that are ultimately designed by the devil to hurt us.
We can also remind ourselves that others like to be lifted with our words of grace [undeserved and unearned favor] Colossians 4:6 because we need them, too.
And if we're spiritual enough, if we believe that we should say something to another to restore them, Galatians 6:1 let's be wise as snakes and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16
