Religious exercise without His spiritual involvement

What are some religious exercises or practices?
Water baptism, communion, lifting and clapping hands in praise and worship, kneeling, bowing head and folding hands, reciting prayers, and church attendance.
Some if not all of these might NOT profit someone spiritually because they can be done in fleshly, natural, or earthly ways.
It is the Spirit Who gives life; the flesh provides no benefit; the words that I [Jesus] have spoken to you are spirit, and are life. John 6:63
The God of heaven might be in these activities, but wouldn't we like to experience His actual presence, power, and purpose when we're involved?
How could we know that our religious activities are what He wants?
Suggestion:
Read and study the Bible to learn about these exercises.
What does Scripture say about them?
Can they be used in today's New Testament age for the benefit of those who do them?
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things for the glory of God. Do not offend Jews or Greeks, or the church of God; just as I [Paul] also please everyone in all things, not seeking my own benefit but the benefit of the many, so that they may be saved. 1 Corinthians 10:31-33
Don't spiritual people want genuine, Lord-approved experiences and not only religious activities?
But a time is coming, and even now has arrived, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. John 4:23
We are the ones who are truly circumcised. We worship God through his Spirit, and our pride is in Christ Jesus. We do not put trust in ourselves or anything we can do. Philippians 3:3
