There can be tears of joy.
Of course, there can be tears of sadness.
Sometimes, when tears don't come from our eyes, either by choice or because they're buried too deep under many sorrows, we still feel them in our hearts.
The passion and the emotions are real and in most cases, can't be controlled, nor should they be.
What if we could NOT feel these?
What if we could NOT shed tears of sadness or joy?
Wouldn't our lives be missing some powerful elements?
Have you ever seen someone cry from being hurt and then you also feel tears rising up within you for them?
So, the question is posed again --
Do you think that tears could be a gift from the Lord for our benefit and others, too?
There's a time in the future for believers in the Lord Jesus Christ when tears will be gone. Ephesians 2:4-10
For the Lamb [Jesus] Who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. John 1:29; Revelation 7:17
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4
