The dutiful hour?

Each of us has 24 hours in a day and 168 hours in a week.
Is it too much to ask that we give 1 hour a week as the believer's duty?
"Oh, I could do that," someone says.
Jesus asked three of His disciples, "Could you not stay awake and pray with Me for 1 hour?" Matthew 26:37-38, 40
They had fallen asleep while Jesus prayed. Matthew 26:39-40
Have you ever tried to pray continuously BY YOURSELF for 1 hour?
It's not that easy, especially if we're doing all of the talking and not listening silently to what the Lord might say. Psalm 46:10
Have you ever read or studied the Bible BY YOURSELF for 1 hour without stopping?
Usually, don't most of us pray a little and maybe grab a Bible verse, hopefully every day?
If we attend church services, most depend on this time each week to fulfill our duty for spirituality.
Suggestion:
Let's allow God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit total access to our lives. Luke 6:46; John 15:7-12; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; 13:14
In this way, prayer, Bible reading and study, praise and worship, gathering with believers, sharing Jesus with yet-not-believers, strengthening other believers, and other spiritual activities can occur regularly and at any time.
Our heart's attitude can be, "Lord, I need You. I want You. I love You. I want to draw near to You because I know You live in my heart. Thank You." John 14:15-18; John 15:4; Ephesians 3:14-21; 1 John 4:19
We may find that this slight turn toward Him will enable Him to draw near to us. James 4:8
Then, actions such as the following may spring up like a well. John 4:13-14
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
