What if everyone were wearing a wire?

How would we act and speak if each person had a hidden microphone and video camera to record everything?

Even recording our body gestures and facial expressions: all would be captured, whether good or bad.

Would we be a little more careful to make sure that we're honest and genuine?

Would we be more mindful that our non-verbal communication and our words can help or hurt others?

It doesn't take much to trouble people, even by accident.

Nor does it take much effort to lift someone's life.

A kind word, a smile, a compliment can make another's day.

It sounds easy but it's not if we try to always live in this positive way.

Maybe if we imagine that people are trying to catch us in our words or actions, to find fault, then this might assist us to be on guard. 1 Peter 5:8

And they send to Him [Jesus] certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch Him in His words. Mark 12:13
