In several places in the New Testament, the Lord Jesus Christ said these words or similar ones to people.
And turning toward the woman, He said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has wet My feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You gave Me no kiss; but she has not stopped kissing My feet since the time I came in. You did not anoint My head with oil, but she anointed My feet with perfume. For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but the one who is forgiven little, loves little."
And He said to her, "Your sins have been forgiven." Luke 7:44-48
"Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more." John 8:11
Years ago, there was a preacher who had a ministry of extraordinary power in signs, wonders, and miracles.
And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. Acts 6:8
In modern times, another minister became famous and controversial because of miracles and some of his teachings.
Most Christians who believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever Hebrews 13:8 and still heals, can only dream of operating in such power.
So, this person was well-known in certain circles throughout the world.
What was most important?
This preacher spoke in a sermon about the paralyzed man who was brought to Jesus for healing. Luke 5:18-26
And read this --
"Man, your sins are forgiven." Luke 5:20
The minister commented, "Jesus saying to me, Man, your sins are forgiven. That's good enough for me!"
What about us?
Is it a small thing to know, believe, and receive forgiveness because Jesus took in His own body our sins so that we could be forgiven and cleansed from them? Isaiah 53:1-6; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 John 1:5-9
When our lives are busy, maybe we forget to appreciate continually His sacrifice paid so that we could be God the Father's children. Ephesians 1:3-7
Jesus was given to die for our sins, and He was raised from the dead to make us right with God. Romans 4:25
